Staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Room was excellent and very spacious with facilities—no traffic noise whatsoever, even at busy times. Location couldn’t have been any better, less than 100 yards from the tube. Overall a fantastic hotel which I will book on my next visits to London. Recommend this hotel to all friends and family.

Our reception team is available onsite 24/7. Guests can check in at any time after 3pm, our standard check in time. Every guest over age 18 will need to complete a registration card and provide an ID upon check in. One guest per room will be required to provide a credit/debit card. If accommodation has been prepaid by the guest or the guest’s agent prior to check in, the guest’s card will be preauthorised in case incidental charges are incurred. If accommodation has not been settled in advance, accommodation charges are payable on check in and the guest’s card will be preauthorised in case of incidental charges.
The hotel will scan your photographic ID so that the necessary information of address/DOB and passport details, where applicable, are automatically loaded on the hotel’s property management system, printed on your registration card and stored for the purpose of your booking/stay. This information is stored in line with GDPR regulations. Please note that all non-UK passport holders must provide their passport on arrival. This is a legal requirement.
Yes. All guests over the age of 18 years of age are required to show ID, usually photographic, upon arrival at the hotel. The name, address, DOB and passport information, where applicable for all non-UK passport holders, is stored in the hotel’s property management system for the purposes of confirming your booking/stay. This information is stored in line with GDPR regulations. It is not shared with any 3rd party unless for the purposes of fulfilling the contractual agreement between Blue Orchid and the guest/s.
For children under the age of 18, who are permitted to stay when accompanied by an adult, ID is not required. However, their names must be added to the registration card by the adult completing the registration card details.
We reserve the right to pre-authorise your credit or debit card during your stay to cover any incidental charges during your stay.
What is a pre-authorisation? A pre-authorisation is a temporary hold of a specific amount of the available balance on a credit or debit card. The pre-authorisation is not a charge and no funds have been debited from your account.
Why is the credit/debit card pre-authorised? The pre-authorisation guarantees us that the funds are available to pay for any charges incurred during your stay.
When does the pre-authorisation get released from the credit/debit card? This varies dependent on your individual credit/debit card. Upon your check out, if your card has been pre-authorised, any extras will be charged to your card as a ‘completion’ transaction, this will appear on your credit/debit card statement, usually within 3 days. However if you choose to pay the balance with another credit card or method of payment we will cancel the pre-authorisation hold and this could take a few working days to clear in your account. Kindly note the time taken to release holds varies from bank to bank and in some cases may take up to 30 days

While we are happy to take note of customer preferences, It is not possible to guarantee that the room on the photograph or a specific room number will be allocated to you.
Hotel room rates vary by date and by the number of adults occupying the room. In order to accommodate more guests, you need to change your reservation. You will be notified of any additional charges prior to confirming your updated reservation.
To make a booking at Blue Orchid Hotels in your name, you must be a minimum of 18 years old. Guests under the age of 18 years old who wish to stay at Blue Orchid Hotels must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Check-in may be refused if proof of age cannot be obtained upon request
We'll do everything possible to accommodate requests for children’s sleeping arrangements. Please add all room requests to the 'Special Request’ section when making a reservation on our website.
Pets are normally not allowed at Blue Orchid Hotels, however service dogs are an exception.
The Skyline London is available for private hire only. Guests can make their enquiries by calling the events team on +44 (0) 203 972 1600. Hotel guests can utilise the Residents Lounge and visit the rooftop to look at the view if there are no events taking place.
The hotel only permits registered guests to enter and stay in its bedrooms. A registered guest is considered a guest whose details have been provided on the registration card. The hotel does not permit unregistered guests/visitors to enter bedrooms without the express permission of the hotel’s senior management team. The number of registered guests cannot exceed the maximum occupancy for the room type reserved at the time of making the booking.
Only registered guests are permitted to stay in bedrooms. Registered guests are those guests confirmed at the time of booking and whose personal information is provided on the registration card at the time of check in. The hotel has maximum occupancy limits depending on the room type which can never be exceeded. This includes visitors who are not registered as a guest but who have been permitted to enter a guest bedroom. See FAQ ‘Can I take visitors to my room?’
